Keep them to a minimum. Once you have a club it is easier to keep them loyal by promoting the fact that you are local and providing excellent service with competitive product. Don't get into the freebies war. You may find it difficult to compete with large companies like Jostens or Life Touch when the multi million dollar machine's decide a Team plaque for each sponsor is a loss leader. I have seen free group photo's for everyone and that is well beyond what is fair. Your Lab can't afford to subsidize promotional give away of that volume. A free group photo (5x7) for the coach and sponsor seems more reasonable. Sponsor a team yourself (tax Break) but be sure to support that team. Have someone on your staff attend every game (company logo visible) and buy a round of cokes after the game. The entire league will observe your actions throughout the season and it will reflect greatly on your company.
